Quality Associate - Pharmaceutical

The role:
 
Reporting to the QA Manager, the Quality Associate’s role will be to implement and maintain the company's quality systems, quality manual, policies and procedures. You will develop quality specifications for finished products and ensure they are adhered to, and ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
 
Other duties will include:
 
  • Responsibility for product release in the QA manager’s absence
  • Coordinate and manage product recall procedure
  • Audit suppliers/third party production and warehousing on a regular basis 
  • Perform GMP self inspection audits and prepare audit reports
  • Review and act upon customer complaints
  • Provide technical assistance to management
  • Prepare Quality Assurance policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, legal and ethical standards
  • Monitor product stability testing
  • Manage GMP Training programme for relevant staff
 
 
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
 
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or other life sciences
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a QA pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • A working knowledge of Quality standards, and broad knowledge of Quality systems
  • Solid knowledge of TGA
  • Third party contactor Quality Auditing and GMP contract preparation experience would be well regarded
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining records and audit reports
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
