With their head office in the UK, our client exports powdered milk and frozen milk, cream and dairy products to Asian and other international clients.

Situated in prime beef country in Northern NSW, our client is located in Casino – an hour from Byron Bay and convenient to good fishing, National Parks and the coast, with the convenience of a major town nearby. All of this, and they’re offering to mentor you to become a senior member of the team! This may be the last job you ever have!

You will be trained “on the job” in areas of finance, marketing and business development. You will liaise with the UK office and international clients (especially in Japan) on matters relating to business as well as technical aspects. Our client will give you the business knowledge you need, but your technical abilities must already be top notch to deal with their international clients.

  • Prepared to travel internationally once or twice a year.

Desirable:

  • A year or two experience in R&D or manufacturing in the food industry, especially dairy.
  • An MBA or similar would be an advantage, or some other evidence of business acumen.
  • Cultural awareness to facilitate good international relationships.
  • Knowledge of food export requirements and legislation (AQIS / NSW SafeFoods).
  • A second language would be well regarded, particularly Japanese or Spanish.
