Are you an experienced QC Chemist that has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry on HPLC?

Our client, a leading Australian pharmaceutical company, is looking for an experienced QC Analyst to work in their facility. This is a great role for someone that wants to take ownership of their work in a well-equipped top class laboratory.
 
This is a 12 month contract that may be extended and provides a wonderful opportunity for someone that wants to grow and develop their current Pharmaceutical experience or for a more experienced person to establish themselves in the role.
 
An excellent working environment and competitive salary are on offer for the right candidate. This is not a graduate position, so you will need to have at least 2 years HPLC experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry to be considered for this role.
 
As a QC Analyst you will be:
 
  • Testing raw materials, in-process and finished products.
 
  • Using HPLC and conducting a variety of tests including dissolutions, titrations and general wet chemistry.
 
  • Utilising your knowledge of GMP to ensure all testing meets the stringent guidelines of TGA and FDA.
 
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
 
  • You must have a Bachelor of Science in a branch of Chemistry. Honours will also be accepted.
  • Have previous experience in testing raw materials and finished products in the pharmaceutical industry or related areas.
  • At least two years in the use of  HPLC with some basic troubleshooting.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Be thorough, accurate and efficient - with an eye for detail.
  • Have a good team working attitude.
