Pharmaceutical Chemist - Stability Review

Our client, a rapidly growing Pharmaceutical Company is seeking to recruit a pharmaceutical chemist to conduct Stability Data Analysis.
 
This role does not involve analytical testing so if you would like to move away from benchwork, then this presents a suitable opportunity for you.  You do however need to have a background in stability analytical testing so that you can confidently assess and understand the data produced.
 
This position is a 12 month tenure with full leave entitlements.  There is a possibility this role could become permanent.  
 
Reporting to the Stability Supervisor, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
 
  • Regular liaison with internal and external customers to discuss requirements and develop stability trial protocols
 
  • Ensuring prepared protocols comply with ICH and customer requirements
 
  • Review stability trial results ensuring compliance with specifications and protocols
 
  • To document and resolve Out of Specification (OOS) investigations
 
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
 
  • Possess Tertiary qualification in Science (preferably Chemistry)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in stability testing or data review
  • Excellent knowledge of GLP within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Sound understanding of ICH requirements for stability
 
Personal attributes you will need in order to be successful for this role include:
 
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English, considering you will have regular contact with clients 
  • Be thorough, accurate and efficient - with an eye for detail
  • Have a good team working attitude
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
 
Any management training will be considered favourably.
