Our client works hard to deliver sustainable technologies and has developed a number of  treatment platforms for the water industry. With facilities in USA and Australia, they are seeking to expand their Sydney operations and perhaps even diverse into other capital cities.
 
We are seeking a Chemical Engineer or an Industrial Chemist Graduate with 2-3 years experience in designing processes for treating water. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of any form of water treatment - waste water, sewage treatment, drinking water or desalination.
 
You will be required to complete induction and safety training during your probation period. Once established there will be frequent travel to field locations around Australia, possibly for extended periods. You will need to be flexible and able to travel.
 
This role will give you the opportunity to develop advanced and unique skills in the water industry. You will be able to contribute significantly to company growth and be heavily involved in major projects.
 
The ideal candidate will hold the following attributes:
 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
 
  • 2-3 years experience in process design for water treatment
 
  • Strong technical skill set
 
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for extended periods
 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team, great interpersonal skills
