Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Industrial Chemicals

DuPont products have been marketed in Australia for more than 50 years, through specialised trading companies. Their products include paints, industrial chemicals and surface coatings.
 
An excellent opportunity is currently available for a Chemist or Chemical Engineer with experience in Regulatory Affairs to join their Regulatory Group in Macquarie Park, NSW.
 
Working with a team of committed professionals, your role will require you to  develop and support DuPont’s global regulatory systems as well as manage the chemical regulatory needs of their Asia Pacific businesses.

To become part of this successful, world renowned company. you will have to meet the following requirements:
 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
 
  • Years of experience in addressing the regulatory requirements of industrial chemicals including Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) management, product hazard classification, labels and GHS hazard classifications.
 
  • Experience working with computerised regulatory systems such as SAP EH&S.
 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely whilst liaising with both internal and external parties locally and from overseas.
 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence/negotiate effectively across multiple countries and cultures.
 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
 
  • Keen interest to learn and implement new regulations.
