SALES SPECIALIST - ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION

  • Sydney Based - Permanent Position for Leading Supplier of Scientific Instruments and Consumables
Our client, is one of Australasia's largest and leading providers of scientific instruments and consumables to the scientific and medical markets.
 
Specialising in products and technologies for laboratory, field, process control and treatment requirements, their Environmental Division is looking to employ a Sales Specialist.  Working specifically in their Water Division, you will be a professional with some experience in sales and the necessary scientific qualifications.
 
Based in Sydney, the successful candidate can look forward to a good salary including a car, a phone, a laptop and a good incentive scheme.
 
To be considered for this excellent position you must meet the following requirements:
 
  • Tertiary qualifications in an environmental science or engineering.
  • Be commitment towards displaying a professional and positive attitude in conduct.
  • Have excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Have the ability to think strategically and laterally in order to maximise business opportunities.
  • Must have the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers and suppliers.
  • Must be able to pass on required knowledge, gaining your clients' and coworkers' confidence and co-operation.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively enabling you to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Must have strong sales skills including an ability to sell innovatively within a competitive environment.
  • A good understanding of the negotiation and sales process.
  • Must be able to develop and execute sales and account plans in line with marketing and key customer objectives.
  • You must be a positive and enthusiastic person with a passion for sales and achieving results.
