QA Officer

  • Flexibility to work your own part-time hours.
  • Great remuneration for the right candidate.
  • Opportunity to join a great, friendly team.
Our client is a historically significant player in the Australian Animal Health Care Industry.  If you are an animal lover you will probably have come across one of their products.  They now require the services of a QA Officer to assist them with their APVMA products. This is a flexible contract role where it is anticipated that the person will work approximately 20 hours per week.  How these hours are worked is open to negotiation.  At this stage it is not possible for the client to nominate the length of the assignment so it would probably be most suited to someone that is looking to get back into a regulatory role.

The key responsibilities of the role will be to ensure the Quality Standards of the company are maintained and that they continue to be compliant with the APVMA Manufacturing requirements.  This is a "hands on" role, so you will also be doing some basic analysis, such as density and pH, of the products.  As part of the Regulatory Compliance aspect of the role, you will be part of the team that resolves any non-conformances.

To be considered for this excellent part-time position, you will meet the following criteria:

  • Have a good understanding and have worked within an APVMA or TGA manufacturing environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in an applicable scientific discipline.
  • Exhibit good attention to detail.
  • Possess sound interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, in conjunction with the ability to communicate with people at different levels from manufacturing through to management.
  • Possess a great personality and be willing to become an integral part of the friendly team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to get back into this type of role with the associated flexibility of not having to work full-time hours.  You could drop off the kids and then leave in time to pick them up.  What more could you want, career plus lifestyle.

If this role interests you, please forward your covering letter addressing the criteria above and an updated resume using the APPLY NOW button below.
