Trainee Chemist - Regulatory Compliance Consultant

Our client, a leading Consulting Laboratory, is willing to train a graduate chemist with or without work experience in regulatory compliance.
 
This Permanent Fulltime role will provide Technical Services to a variety of important clients. Working in the Technical Services Department, you will provide consulting services across a number of disciplines including Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Regulations Compliance and many other legislations. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading Multinational company, with opportunities.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Providing Legislation advice to in regards to ACL, ACCC requirements, formulated product regulators such as TGA, APVMA, NICNAS and others
  • Product compliance
  • Develop new product labels and review clients' artwork
  • Assist in project work
  • Provide assistance in organising and conducting client services such as sampling and comparative testing programs
 
The product range you will be working with are a broad range of Non-Food Grocery Items. The IDEAL candidate will have some experience in the Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic or Personal Care industry OR any experience with detergents and personal cleaners manufacturing.
 
To be considered for the brilliant, entry level opportunity into Consulting you must meet ALL of the following criteria:
 
  • Completed a Science Degree in chemistry or similar
  • Some knowledge of GMP, Industrial Manufacturing, QA Systems, Microbiology and Chemistry
  • Some understanding of Chemical Regulators such as NICNAS and APVMA as well as ACCC and TGA
  • Excellent communication skills, time management skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
