Senior Pharmacovigilance Associate - Drug Safety (Sydney Based)

The Role
Due to continued growth, a rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Pharmacovigilance Associate with a pharmacology or science qualification to join this well respected company in Sydney.
 
In this role, the successful candidate will be working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and will be responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of pharmacovigilance data. 
 
Duties Overview
Some of the duties related to this position include:
  • Manage of the Company's Pharmacovigilance system.
  • Maintain, prepare and submit reports of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) in accordance with internal policies and relevant local or international regulations.
  • Help define and shape the Company's Pharmacovigilance processes and systems.
  • Answer requests and queries from the TGA in a prompt and detailed manner.
  • Address ADRs, safety issues and risk/benefit analysis of registered medicinal products.
 
Position Requirements
To be considered for this Senior role, some of the criteria you will need to meet include:
  • Degree or higher in Pharmacology or Science
  • At least 5 years experience in Medical Affairs / Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance role in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across different internal and external key stakeholders within a wide range of therapy areas
  • Superior written and verbal communication as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated, proactive and self reliant
