Our client is a leading contract packer of pharmaceutical/cosmetic and veterinary products for the Australian and New Zealand markets. 
They are currently seeking an experienced, high caliber Quality Assurance Manager to manage, maintain and improve the Quality Systems at their NSW site.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, implement and maintain Quality Systems and Procedures to ensure high product quality
  • Manage and perform internal and external supplier audits
  • Train and induct all staff on site on GMP compliance as well as maintain quality staff training records
  • Manage and constantly update the documentation systems including SOP's on site
  • Take charge of customer complaints ensuring corrective actions are seen through
  • Product control Release for Packing and Release for sale
  • Maintain Regulatory licences
  • Maintain a calibration log of all instrumentation used in the laboratory

To be  short listed for this role, you must posses the following attributes;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Pharmaceutical experience mainly in the areas of Manufacturing, QA/QC or Regulatory Affairs
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality Assurance role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Be willing, flexible and diligent
  • Excellent interpersonal, people management and organisational Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as possessing proficient computer skills
