QA & Compliance Manager- Therapeutics

Our client, a leading manufacturer of Cosmetics and Therapeutic products in Australia is looking for an experienced  Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager to join their friendly and professional Team.
 
Having 3 direct reports, the position is responsible for the Management of the complete quality system which includes Audit Programs, GMP Training, Documentation System, Validation activities and all aspects of the current GMP Code. You will maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including the latest version of PIC/S GMP.
 
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
 
  • Establishment and maintenance of systems to ensure all critical equipment, processes and products are adequately validated.
  • Maintenance of effective internal audit and vendor qualification program.
  • Coordinate activities related to regulatory agency inspections, observations, commitments and corrective actions.
  • Management of the product complaint program.
  • Update and review of SOPs.
  • Ensure appropriate procedures are in place for non-conformances, corrective actions, change control, distribution tracking, training requirements.
  • Provide training to staff.
 
To be considered for this fantastic opportunity with a leading Australian company, you will need to meet the following selection Criteria:
 
  • Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology or Related Discipline
 
  • Knowledge of TGA Act and Regulations
 
  • Knowledge of PIC/S Guide to GMP for Medicinal Products
 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA within Complementary Medicine, Therapeutics or a related area.
 
  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Manager
 
  • Strong Leadership and decision making skills
 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with both internal and external contacts
