The Client
Located in Hawthorn close to public transport, this thriving business is redefining Melbourne's property landscape by offering fully integrated property solutions in commercial and residential real estate.
 
The Role
As the HR Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the People and Culture Manager with a broad range of HR responsibilities within that division.  Key accountabilities will be: Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development and Occupational Health and Safety.
You will also be required to manage and process Payroll functions in a timely manner. Knowledge of  Attache Payroll Software would be an advantage.
 
Specific Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the recruitment process and manage all new starter procedures
  • Co-ordinating the induction and integration of new employees
  • Arrange for staff training in the area of OH&S
  • Co-ordinate the accident, incident and reporting process
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements
  • Promote existing wellbeing programs
  • Maintain People and Culture Procedure manuals and Policies
  • Assist with People and Culture projects
  • Assist with implementation and delivery of online performance management tool
  • Managing and Processing Payroll
  • The set up of new employees
  • Commission calculations
  • PAYG returns
  • Group certificates, leave recording and reporting
  • Superannuation payments to individual funds
 
The Successful Applicant
  • 3 years minimum HR/Payroll experience
  • Relevant HR qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attache Payroll Knowledge an advantage
  • Sound Payroll and HR Support/Co-ordination experience
  • Excellent communication skills
