This role is based in Sydney with an international leading applications firm that look after the top 100 law and finance firms and media organsiations.

The head office is in LA and they have offices across Australia and Europe. 

The role is highly visible and as the team grows it will allow you an opportunity to grow with it.  The manager is from the US, with a modern business approach where he has created an environment where hard work is noticed and talented staff get rewarded in this organisation.

Applications and Systems Support 

Primary function is to assist customers with systems and applications that do not interrupt the BAU process and help optimise their business objectives.

 

You will be required to;

  • Use remote access to support international clients
  • Escalate issues when necessary
  • Communicate with users across China to resolve issues and develop customer rapport.
  • Respond quickly to issues and communicate effectively with customers to ensure the situation is understood and a solution provided
  • Gather complete customer information and documentation for known solutions
  • Isolate causes and take restorative actions while minimizing disruption to the BAU plan
  • Document steps taken.
  • Technical expertise – Learn about their software products and operating platforms
  • Help customers utilize and adapt software to effectively manage their business both financially and operationally.

You are efficient and will become a recognised leader.  

To win this role you will be:

  • Fluent in English and conversational Chinese / Mandarin
  • MCSE, MCSA certification is very helpful
  • Network administrator or database know how is very helpful
  • Technical knowledge of MS-Windows, MS SQL Server
  • Understand the important concepts of SQL databases
  • Experience in a technical support role within a software environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and solving complex problems
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and network operating systems
  • Expertise troubleshooting hardware and software compatibility issues across various configurations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
