Are you an experienced QC Chemist that has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry on HPLC?

Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company,┬ is┬ looking for an Experienced QC Chemist to work in their facility. This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to take on ownership of their work.
This is a permanent position and provides the perfect opportunity for someone that wants to grow and develop their current Pharmaceutical experience or for a more experienced person to establish themselves in the role. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-equipped world-class laboratory.
An excellent working environment and competitive salary are on offer┬ for the right candidate. This is not a graduate position, so you will need to have HPLC experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry to be considered for this role.
┬ As a QC Analytical Chemist, you will be:
  • Testing raw materials, in-process and finished products.┬
  • Using HPLC, UV/VIS and other instrumentation.┬
  • Once you become familiar with the products troubleshooting issues which may arise.
  • Utilising your knowledge of GMP to ensure all testing meets the stringent guidelines of TGA and FDA.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:┬
  • You must have a Bachelor of Science in a branch of Chemistry. Honours will also be accepted.┬
  • Have previous experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry including use of HPLC. Experience on Waters Empower operating system would be well received.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be thorough, accurate and efficient - with an eye for detail.┬
  • Have a good team working attitude.
The position will involve working rotating shift. Two weeks day (7:30AM-4:30PM - with some flexibility) followed by two weeks┬ afternoon┬ (4:30-11:30PM).
