MANAGER - TECHNICAL AND REGULATORY

  • Great Opportunity to Create the Future
  • Combine Your Technical and Regulatory Experience
  • Good Remuneration Package for the Right Person
This is a great opportunity to join a major Australian Chemical Supplier Company.  Due to the impending retirement of the current incumbent, the Company now needs an experienced Manager with a strong background in the Food Industry (a major focus of their growth activities) as well as a very good working knowledge of regulatory requirements.

The person will need to have a strong understanding of FSANZ requirements as well as those related to issues in regards to Dangerous Goods, Poisons and ISO 9000 series Quality Systems.  Our client, located in the South-Eastern suburbs, wants a dedicated candidate that can be a part of, and contribute to, their continued success.

As part of the Management Team you will work with the Sales Department to expand our operations, particularly into the Food Industry.  You will also be the ""first point of call"" to deal with regulatory issues.  This could include items related to FSANZ; or to do with the Storage, Handling or Transportation of Dangerous Goods; or in respect to their ISO 9001 certification.  For someone that likes to combine their technical knowledge with their understanding of the regulatory environment this is a truly great opportunity.

To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or Food Science with a number of years of industrial experience in the Food Industry.
  • Be a champion of Quality Systems Certification.
  • Be able to exhibit excellent time management skills as you will be working on a number of issues at any one time.
  • Be someone that can win people over to your way of thinking, especially in respect to safety and quality issues.
  • Have excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate timelines with relevant parties.
  • Be a committed team player that can work autonomously as the need arises.
  • Want to take ownership and responsibility for your work and lead from the front.

This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to take the responsibility associated with their work and become an integral part of the Company's Management Team.

If you feel that you meet the requirements, please forward a cover letter addressing the above criteria with a current resume to the link below.
