Our client is a leading manufacturer of many loved and easily recognisable brands.  With manufacturing sites Australia wide and overseas, this Australian giant offers its employees wonderful and exciting careers!
 
Due to growth, a Melbourne based position is currently available for a Senior Food Technologist.  This is an exciting and varied role and requires someone with end-to-end knowledge of the "new product development" process.   You will be innovative and introduce new products, attract stakeholders and play a major part in factory trials!
 
You will travel throughout Australia and share knowledge and ideas.   The successful candidate will enjoy all the benefits of being part of a very big, lively and dynamic Company experiencing growth on a daily basis.
 
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to meet the following criteria:
 
  • Qualifications in Food Technology or other relevant discipline - degree as a minimum
  • Many years experience in a similar role where product development was not simply a new recipe or reformulation
  • The ability to attract and gain the support of the many relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to run pilot plant trials to ensure the final product is always the same regardless of the manufacturing site
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups
  • Proven ability to project manage and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with others while contributing to the team's success
