Due to growth, a Melbourne based position is currently available for a Senior Food Technologist. This is an exciting and varied role and requires someone with end-to-end knowledge of the "new product development" process. You will be innovative and introduce new products, attract stakeholders and play a major part in factory trials!
You will travel throughout Australia and share knowledge and ideas. The successful candidate will enjoy all the benefits of being part of a very big, lively and dynamic Company experiencing growth on a daily basis.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to meet the following criteria:
Qualifications in Food Technology or other relevant discipline - degree as a minimum
Many years experience in a similar role where product development was not simply a new recipe or reformulation
The ability to attract and gain the support of the many relevant stakeholders
Ability to run pilot plant trials to ensure the final product is always the same regardless of the manufacturing site
Excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups
Proven ability to project manage and meet deadlines
Must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with others while contributing to the team's success
